Touché before and after.  Her tummy was actually bigger than it looks in the “before” picture.  She actually had 4 babies!  Two were perfect and two were underdeveloped and stillborn.  The babies are about a month old in the “after” picture.

Here’s one of the triplets we had this year.

Above:  This is why her name is Nosey!

Right:  Touché’s babies in the tree, now 4 months old.  Nosey’s triplets in the background.

The north side of the barn.

Below are some more recent photos

(June 2007)

Left:  View of the big pasture facing northeast.

Below:  view of the big pasture through the west oaks, facing east.  (See the same dead tree from the picture above.)

Left: facing south, towards the house.  You can see Harvey’s trailer and the barn, but our house is hidden by trees.

Below:  The same angle, without the steers.  You can just barely see the tree that broke off in the big windstorm of 2003.  It was as tall as the two firs beside it.  Stefan saw it come down.  Thankfully, the wind blew it away from the house!

The garden, mostly Harvey’s work.  The left picture is the strawberries, some small blueberry bushes and LOTS of raspberries (the world’s most perfect food!).  Howard just gave me the first raspberries of the year!  We also had a bumper crop of strawberries.  They are already almost done.  On the right are the grapes, we got our first good crop last year and behind them are Harvey’s melon starts and a few other things in the garden.
